It’s 2016, right?
The reason I ask that question is because it’s pretty crazy, in a technological way, how far the world has come in the time I’ve been on Earth. I kind of feel lucky, too, as I’ve had a chance to see some cool things happen over time.
I never think about the current generation, though, and what they’ve missed.
I still remember the rabbit eats on a television at my grandmother’s house, or the two types of television “frequencies.”
Then there was the Atari 2600 (for the record, I really want to get one of these as I have a lot of games from it), or a ColecoVision – all the way to the original Nintendo.
Who remembers those?
There’s the green-screen Apples, or the first consumer PCs etc.
And my first cell phone – brace yourself – was an actual car phone that was installed IN MY CAR.
But I never think about the fact that kids in high school have no clue about some of things. Heck, some of the teachers in the schools these days don’t know.
I still remember mixed tapes. OK, some might remember those.
But, allow me to share this video that I found. It’s hilarious and well worth the eight minutes of watching. The amazement these kids show is too much.
