Welcome to Snapshot Saturday!
Allow me to explain this feature a little more. The idea of this weekend post is to find older family photos or older shots I have taken and share them with my readers. These images aren’t going to be all taken by me, of course, but being I’m working on a family project, I’ve had the chance to come across many wild photos.
So, I will be sharing older images here.
I thought this would be a cool thing to have as a feature as with the emergence of digital photography, film is becoming more of a thing of the past (though I still like shooting film on occasion!)
Basically what I will do each week is have a photo here with a small description.
Here’s this week’s photo:
When going through a big batch of family photos last year, I came across some 8X10 black and white images — matte finish, the whole nine yards. Awesome stuff.
The person on the left is my grandfather (PopPop), who I never really knew as he died shortly after I was born. However, he was a mechanic — and apparently a real good one. Loved this photo from the minute I saw it. It’s just so old school — with the old jacks and the hammer and everything. How great is this?
Hope you enjoyed!
More later!
