- A Day Zero Project goal of P.J.’s has been completed!
Goal completed: See a 3D movie.
Date completed: September 2, 2011.
Number: 91 (remember, these goals will not all be done in order. It’s a random list where the numbers actually are).
Description: I have heard so many things about 3D movies and I thought it would be cool to go see one. I don’t hit up the theaters too often, so putting it on this list would somewhat force me to go check one out.
Why I wanted to do it: As I said before, I don’t go to the theaters too often. Being I don’t know if my TV or DVD players is 3D capable, I figured I would have to go to a theater to see one of these movies. Also, there were some cool ones out lately and I thought it would be nice to see one of these on a big screen.
How I did it: I was in Massachusetts to volunteer at the Vibram Open and one of the few nights here, we thought it would be cool to relax by checking out a movie. AND there were some 3D flicks playing. So after thinking about it, we opted for Shark Night 3D. The movie itself wasn’t worth the $14.75 (holy crap!) as the plot and everything was quite blah and so-so. That being said, the 3D was simply awesome and I really enjoyed it. I really like how good it is and I would love to see a few more 3D movies down the line. Very cool stuff.
About P.J.’s Day Zero Project: Day Zero is a project where people come up with 101 things to do over 1001 days. I started the project on Oct. 10, 2010 with an anticipated finish date of July 8, 2013. Goals will not be revealed until they are completed. A private list is at the Day Zero website and the list will be made public upon completion of the project. It’s my thoughts that if things are kept private, should I not do them, change or find a way around it, I’d only be cheating myself.
