There are ways to get interesting looks at the post office, that’s for sure.
Thursday, I went to my PO Box knowing I had a package coming with a Kickstarter-backed game. It was one I backed a long time ago, so it’s one I was happy to see arriving.
See, there’s a company some of these Kickstarter games use to ship their games – a company called Ship Naked.

It’s a game inside the box!
You can see where this is going.
For those who don’t know, Kickstarter is a place where people can post a project and get backers to make it come to life. For backing it, customers get certain rewards. With board games, it’s the game. But, shipping games isn’t cheap, so many use companies such as Ship Naked, which handles all of that aspect.
A couple of months ago, I received two games from Ship Naked. The postal worker smirked and made a funny jab at the return address.
I just laughed and explained.
Whether the person believed it or not, who knows.
So when I got the e-mail saying the game was shipping and who it was from … I figured on looks again. The package came and I grabbed it, but I don’t think this postal worker happened to see it. If she did, she kept it to herself.
And if that’s the fact, maybe it’s even worse!
But, as you can see with the photo in the post, the game King’s Abbey is what is in the box.
What a name for a shipping company, eh? Imagine the looks around the country when games arrive at people’s houses and such!
