Another blast from the past!

When last week’s photo was posted, it got hit with many, many comments! Of course, that made me happy.

One comment, from my brother Pat, caught my eye, however.

He said:

I have at least grown somewhat into my ears.

One of the commandments of A ‘lil HooHaa is: “Thou shalt not give P.J. more ammunition then necessary.”

But this was all I needed. So I got looking and looking and looking.

And I found it!

The bow tie. The ears. The smile. The belt. Priceless.

(For the record, and I’m not kidding when I say this, but I am totally digging the bow tie).

Say cheese!

Enjoy!

Fundraiser: I am, again, trying to raise money for the Relay For Life. If you donate to me — even a small amount — you will be entered to win a super-sweet quilted scarf. Click here for all the information!

Another blast from the past!

This would appear to have been taken at a wedding or something along those lines. But I’m not sure who or where. I imagine somebody will be able to tell and can put it in the comments.

Anyway, this is a Harmer clan shot.

A family group.

From left: My uncle Jim and aunt Jean; my father and mother, my uncle Phil and aunt Barb and my uncle John and aunt Louise.

Enjoy!

Another blast from the past!

Ho, Ho, Ho!

We continue the merry photos for this holiday season and month! This one is quite the grab. Coming downstairs on Christmas morning as me and my brothers did. Cards used to line the steps. And that gold ball… oh my!

The memories.

I do love looking back at these photos. I remember a bit how life was back then, but I wish I had cherished things more. Quite the times they were. I miss when things were so carefree.

I miss a lot of things about those Christmases long ago. The feeling as a kid. The family. And yes, my dad. He loved this time of year. I hope I can dig up a photo of him during Christmas for sometime this month. He was a kid at heart. I’ll touch more on that when I uncover a photo of him for this month.

Until then, enjoy me and the bros getting ready to rip open some presents.

Take the photo... so we can get to the fun!

Enjoy!

Another blast from the past!

The next three weeks of this post should be fun as I show off me and my two brothers in our younger years. I’ll be starting from youngest to oldest, which means I’m first up on this little run through time.

A note to my brothers — laugh now, hosers, because you two knuckleheads will be getting it the next two weeks!

If I had to guess, I’d probably be somewhere between 5-7 in this photo. I almost think that someone made this sweater, too. Maybe my mother?

It’s one of the few photos taken of me over time that I actually like.

All smiles

Enjoy!

Another blast from the past!

Somebody recently celebrated a milestone birthday.

So, of course, I had to dig up an old family photo, eh?

And, unless I’m on something crazy, I’m pretty sure this would be a photo from long ago!

Score!

Happy birthday to one heck of a godmother!

Enjoy!

I will not apologize for getting emotional and a little misty in the eye on reflecting on this moment and the story of our nation.
