It seems like fall is coming, despite the calendar showing it to still be summer.
Don’t get me wrong – the days have been fine. Plentiful sunshine and nice temperatures have been the norm. Alas, the nights have gotten downright cold! But, I won’t complain as it makes it much easier to sleep, that’s for sure.
Are you all ready for the fall and the eventual winter?
This has been a pretty good summer – one not to complain about. I saw a lot of baseball (and I’m still finishing my Summer of Baseball Tour posts. I have a few left), got a little bit of geocaching in (not enough) and actually played a round of disc golf. And that’s saying something, considering I haven’t flicked Frisbees in a while!
I didn’t do a few things I wanted to do, such as visit Montreal, but there’s time for that in the future. I knew this summer was going to be filled with baseball and would curb some other things. And that’s fine as I don’t see me doing something like what I did this summer again – unless I win the lottery. It was fun, but it was hard to be going somewhere so often.
Then with softball and a few other things, it seems like the summer just flew by.
And now, the fall is soon upon us. In fact, it will officially be fall in just a couple of days. That means crisp nights, some (hopefully) great colors, and fall delicacies – like beer and foods.
I am planning my annual trek down to South Jersey in a few weeks, and I’ll enjoy that time away from the mainstream times that are often there. Hopefully, it will be a time to relax, geocache, take a few photos and enjoy being away for a few days.
I’d definitely like to get out a bit this fall and do a few things. I’ve done well with my diet and watching things, but as the summer ends, so do certain things I do outside. So I need to start figuring something else so I can keep somewhat active and such.
What kind of things do you all do during the fall?
