I have to be honest – this month flew by.
And that stinks because I had so many ideas for this month’s theme and I honestly didn’t get much of those ideas. Still, I went through my stash from this month and think I did OK.
But what a month this was, eh?
In my area on Christmas Eve, it was nearly 70 degrees out, shattering many a record. Work was crazy hectic, I went to several events, and there were night when three hours was a lot of sleep.
And, of course, since Christmas, I’ve been battling a bad cold.
Talk about ending 2015 with a bang!
Alas, the end of the month means the Photo Blogging Challenge ends for this month. We are only a few months away from celebrating our third year! I’m excited to see what everyone did for this month, as well.
Quickly, though, if you are looking for an additional regular blogging challenge, the 20 Days of Chill Writing Challenge runs weekdays through the month of January. There are themes for each day, you blog about it, then come back here each day and link up. It can be a lot of fun. I only do it once a year, and January is the month.
If you want to look at the themes, visit the post I had a few days ago. It explains everything. Hope to see some of you join up!
So, without further adieu, here are my five for the month!
1. Ho! Ho! Ho! (with a few wrestling holds!)
Did you know Santa moonlighted as a wrestler? Me either. But he did well on two of 2CW’s final three cards to ring in the holiday season!

Santa in control!
2. Elmo!
The holiday season also brings in Cameron’s birthday … and this year he got an Elmo! Think he’s excited?

Elmo!
3. A little help
Cameron was getting some help from Gram on Christmas Eve with opening a few presents.
4. Pr

A little start to the opening of presents.
4. Presents!
I took this shot with one the new films and the new lens that Hipstamatic had out for Christmas. Thought it looked pretty cool.

Gifts under the tree!
5. Opening up!
This year Cameron seemed more into the opening of gifts.

What’s in here?
There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!
If you took part in this month’s challenge, make sure to link up below. And for those of you who participated, make sure you try and get to other people’s blogs and comment (here, too!). Let’s continue to grow this challenge and have a strong community. Come back and check out the others who link later on, too!
Also, don’t forget to get back here Friday, January 1 to see the theme for January!
NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.
Feel free to leave a comment, or e-mail P.J. at hoohaablog@gmail.com. Also, please “Like” HooHaa Blog on Facebook!
Great job as always PJ!
Who knew Santa moonlighted?!
I love the present opening photos too.
I have a funny picture of my 2 year old cousin afraid of Santa and hiding between my husband & brother on Christmas Eve – but I didn’t have time to ask her parents if I could use it on my blog.

Must be Santa doesn’t get paid as well as we all might think … or he just likes the competition.
It’s too bad you couldn’t have used that photo. Sounds like a good one. 🙂
LOL! No, I didn’t know Santa moonlighted as a wrestler. Guess that’s how he gets back in shape after eating all those cookies on Christmas Eve. I love seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child. You captured Cameron adorably. I’m sure he was tons of fun to watch this year. Great selection to represent the holidays in your world. It was in the 60s here but now it’s only in the 30s.
Crazy stuff, right? So he must work all day, then fly to wherever he’s wrestling. He seems pretty strong, too.
Cameron was definitely fun this year, but I have a feeling next year will be the one where he really gets into it. The weather was crazy here, too, but we’re getting a dose of winter for a few days.
We had warm weather for Christmas, too. I must admit, I was happy with it, as it meant my boys could be outside playing during the hours the house was packed with people.
That photo of Cameron opening Elmo is precious!
I noticed the Ticket to Ride game on the table in the photo with Grandma. We just played it yesterday!
Thanks for organizing this link-up, PJ. I always enjoy participating.

Though I won’t complain about the good weather, I still would have loved to have seen a white Christmas! Alas, what can you do?
As for Ticket to Ride, that one was a gift for somebody else, but I have the 10th anniversary edition. It’s so nice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get to the table too often because the group I game with is into more in-depth games. I play it a bit on the iPad and it’s nice to play when I get the chance to get the board out!
Thanks for taking part in the challenge this month and hope to see you more in 2016!
Great photos. Thanks for organizing the challenge every month. I’ve really enjoyed being a part of it this year.

Thanks for being a part of it in 2015. Hope to see you continue to join us in 2016!
I luv the expression of excitement on Cameron’s face as he discovers he has an Elmo for his birthday! Its certainly a moment well captured..his little face looks so chuffed. You will treasure that moment with him forever.
I like the christmas wrestling match shot too..the colours are so punchy and sharp.
I am so happy I caught that look on his face, that’s for sure!
Sorry to hear you were sick between Christmas and the New Year. You managed to put up some great photos anyhow. The wrestling Santa is so fun, as is the “Cameron meets Elmo” photograph. Happy New Year to you and yours.

The funny part is I had planned on taking a few days off from work to give me a longer break — and I wasn’t going to do much anyway. So, though it stunk to be sick, it wasn’t bad to lay around on the couch, catch up on some blogging (as much as I could), watch some movies and all that. It’s almost gone now, so hopefully I’ll be back up to normal speed soon. Have a great 2016!
Your pictures are always so well captured! I love how excited and happy Cameron is in the photo with Elmo.

Thanks so much, Jana! Cameron was definitely amped up for Elmo!
