‘Tis the season!
Indeed it is! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! It’s been pretty good on this end, despite my camera faltering and me deciding to dive in and get a new camera for myself.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
And then I almost forgot today’s date and was about to post Part 2 of my year in review (which will now be on Jan. 1). Thankfully, I looked at the blog planner and was holy cow!
So this month’s theme was ‘Tis the Season. I am looking forward to seeing everybody’s links and posts. I think this theme has the chance to be really good and I had heard many new people talking about joining, so hopefully we get a bunch.
No matter what you celebrate or don’t, this theme was very open-ended. I went a little more traditional in a sense and like the images I chose. I hope you do as well.
Remember to link up and then try and comment on other people’s blogs to keep this community fun!
Without anymore blabbing, here’s my five.
1. Winter
In the Northeast, ‘Tis the Season for snow. Well, sometimes. We had a green Christmas with temps in the high 40s… but a week or so earlier, we had snow.

Brrrr!
2. Mmmm…
What is this season without awesome food… such as these bacon-wrapped scallops?

Yes, they were awesome!
3. A new chair
Cameron seemed OK with just sitting on the presents.

Chilling.
4. Open it!
Cam didn’t really get into the opening, but he did make an attempt a few times. Next year!

Open!
5. Tasty!
‘Tis the season for some fine spirits!

Happy holidays!
That’s my five for the month. And, now it’s your turn.
If you took part this month, make sure you link up below. And for those who participated, make sure you try and get to other people’s blogs and comment and visit so we can continue to grow this challenge (even here)! Don’t forget, too, to come back and visit tomorrow, December 31 and see the theme for January!
NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.
Feel free to leave a comment, or e-mail P.J. at hoohaablog@gmail.com. Also, please “Like” HooHaa Blog on Facebook!
Nice selection of seasonal photos. I’ve managed to take part this month.

Thanks and I am glad you joined us this month!
Well, Ho Ho Ho to you as well. Congrats on the new camera! Love your selection of traditional pics. Especially the spirits one! Spirits at our house look more like wine or Bailey’s, but I love the tree lights in the background. Happy New Year to you and yours. May it be a wonderful year on your end.

Thanks so much, Lisa. I enjoyed the theme this month. Hope you had a great holiday season!
I wasn’t late this month! I love your selection of photos. The snowy road looks so peaceful and Christmas and Kids go hand in hand. Thanks for sharing and hosting this project. Happy New Year to you all.

These are wonderful! That first one I can almost “hear” what it is like outside. That silence you get with snow. SO SO BEAUTIFUL.
Of course you KNOW I love the child pictures. Nothing like children on Christmas.. I still get so much joy seeing mine happy… when the oldest is already 21!
Then… bacon… scallops… beer. SIGH. Heaven.

Thanks so much, Katherine! The snow this time of year can be wonderful for sure. And I totally agree about children on Christmas. It’s an amazing time!
The snow photo is gorgeou! I was in Lake Tahoe last and I didn’t quite see snow quite like that.
Julie recently posted..Photo Blogging Challenge (Dec. 2014): ‘Tis the Season
Thanks so much Julie. I enjoyed the snow while it lasted!
I love the lineup of pics! The snowy street is my favorite, I never get tired of looking at snowy streets! I also love the fourth pic it’s adorable, the wide-eyed look of his cute face ready to get in to the presents and lights 🙂

Thanks Sarah. The one good thing about being in a rural area is being able to find those snowy back roads!
Great set of shots. I wasn’t kidding when I said I’d love to post that one shot for this month for next month. 😉

Thanks, Paul. I had a good time with this month’s theme. 🙂
PJ, thank you so much for organizing and hosting this monthly challenge. While I enjoy working on personal and volunteer photography projects, it’s nice to have a theme in the back of my mind each month as I’m out and about, camera in hand.
Thanks for sharing your seasonal selections. Those bacon-wrapped scallops look fabulous. We enjoyed bacon wrapped fresh pineapple chunks over the New Year and they were pretty tasty, too.
We’ve already taken our tree down, so I’m really enjoying all the Christmas tree photos included in this month’s posts.
As for next month, I have a few possibilities in mind. See you on the 31st!

The food was fantastic… but bacon-wrapped pineapple? Oh my. I’d love to know about making those as they sound amazing!
