Awww, it’s like a fairy tale of sorts.
Well, not really.
Today is the last day of the 30 Days of Photographs challenge, brought to you by Mike and Ziva. Now, let’s remember, I didn’t participate in all 30 days. I barely keep up with other photo challenges as it is and I’m like six months behind in processing my photos … so 30 days wasn’t going to happen.
Alas, I enjoyed the few days I did participate in.
And with the end of every challenge, there’s happiness. So happily ever after seems fitting for the final day. And, to be honest, I thought about this one a bit. I’ve decided, as I’ve done before with this one, to break the rules a little.
OK, so this isn’t really a photograph. But if you don’t hit play, it is a screen capture look — so it’s a photo on here. Kind of.
Whatever, sue me.
This was a happiness ever after thing on the final day of the cruise I recently took. It was a happy night for sure and a great way to end the cruise.
Then let’s go back to the cruise itself. I dined in the steakhouse one night. A five-course meal. This was the final course.
Talk about a happily ever after story. Booya!
For the days I participated, I really did enjoy the challenge. It was fun and I got to see some great stuff. That’s always nice.
To see other’s who are participating in this challenge and did this day’s image, head over to Ziva’s Inferno to check it out!
Speaking of photo challenges…

It was quite awesome … I won’t lie. 😉
Oh my! That dessert looks amazing and the video is hilarious! I kept wanting to sing along. 😉 Thank you for participating when you had the time and opportunity, PJ. Your photos are always stunning, and I particularly loved the one of the fallen apples.. It was simply beautiful. I’ll be back tomorrow to participate in your photo challenge. 🙂

I enjoyed it and wish I could have done more. Maybe next time around. 😉
Wow! That would make me happy ever after too 😉
It was the perfect ending to that meal!
Oh that cake would kill me and mu diabetes . But it looks delicious.

It probably didn’t do a lot of good to my blood sugar, either, dufus.
I think the folks in the video are drunk or high, or both. And I don’t just like that photo of the cheesecake, I want to marry it and have babies with it. Dear god in heaven…
Thank you for dropping in when you were able, P.J. I admire your photography and writing a great deal, and look forward to many more challenges with you.
Nah, they are just happy as can be, Mike!
It was a citrus cheesecake, too. Amazing. Might be the best cheesecake I ever had.
I enjoyed the ones I could do in this challenge. And look forward to more in the future, even if part time! 😉
PJ, that dessert looks amazing. That alone would be worth the price of the cruise!

And thankfully, I didn’t pay for the cruise! 😀
Yummy dessert and photo! The desserts on cruises are amazing, especially in the dining room or the specialty restaurants. I love the entertainment in the dining room. It makes the experience special.
But, even good things must come to an end. I’ve enjoyed seeing your photos and will check your October theme!

I fully agree. The desserts are incredible. They had a sweet bar in the “food hall” area. Crazy. Sometimes, even more special stuff. I could have gorged on sweets for hours, but played it smart.
There’s nowhere near enough chocolate on that dessert. Desserts should be largely chocolate in my opinion. Apart from that, it looks great!

I’m not the biggest chocolate guy, so this was perfect for me. But they did, in the dining room, have a chocolate lava cake. I tried it one night. With a side of peanut butter (as suggested by a staff member) — so worth it.
I want that dessert !!
I would like it again!
Lol. Those guys sing as good as I do. Love cruise ships. See ya around.

Those guys were amazingly awesome entertainment!
So when does that fun ship set sail, P.J.? Is that where the Bob reunion is happening?

Imagine this crew on a cruise ship!
That’s the way I like to finish a meal. Looks like a hell of a cruise. Your photos were spectacular.

It was pretty awesome, that’s for sure. A great experience!
That dessert looks amazing! The final night of the cruise is always fun and sad at the same time. The singing waiters are a blast.

Only ever being on one cruise, I’d have to agree. So much to do. Then I walked around at night by myself to the empty ship. Quite serene, but sad, too.

That looks like a yummy (if off-key) ending to the cruise and the challenge.
