Though Memorial Day may have become a day for parades, barbeques and everything else, let’s remember what it’s all about — remembering those who have fought for our freedoms, especially those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
And, like many (or most) holidays, it has become a bit more “Hallmark” in nature, when you look at sales and open businesses and everything else, the reality is this holiday — and federal day off — is to remember.
So take a moment out of your day to remember those who fought for our rights and freedoms. And remember those who died in battle, defending our country.
It’s what this day is about and we should never forget it.

Ver nice tribute to what the true meaning of Memorial Day really is about.

Very nice tribute indeed. I ended up at a Memorial Park in Pasadena, CA this morning. I took several moving photos that I’ll be publishing later this week.
