So there are many blogs out there that do Wordless Wednesday posts. Basically a post where they’ll post a photograph with no other words.
But being so many people do a Wordless Wednesday, I’d rather not follow that.
So I’ll do a Soundless Sunday
It may or may not be a weekly thing here on the blog, but I’ll try and do it. That will make the weekends more about photographs, which isn’t a bad thing.
I took this photo during my trip to South Jersey last fall. It would be nice to be close to a beach so I could go on occasion. But, that would also mean people. I loved being there in the fall because nary a person was on the beach.

That is a gorgeous moody photograph. Is the single beachcomber happy or melancholy? Hard to tell. But it’s stunning in its composition. Wow!

Thanks a ton. And I was happy as could be, to be honest! 😀

I wish I was there!!! Great shot. I would love to sink my feet in wet sand.

I wish I were there now, too! I bet it would be awful nice to be in the water! 😀
I live very close to several beaches. Ah…aren’t you just green with envy. In the summertime, i give up beach walks. I too dislike all the people. Favourite time at the beach is when a storm is coming, and the waves are crashing. GREAT first pic for Soundless Sunday.

I don’t think I’d be jealous during the “in-season,” but I would love it during the off-season! People… ugh. As for storms… I bet that would be awesome for photos. And for lightning shots!
Is it just my Monday eyes, optical illusion, etc. but it looks like the footprints are raised instead of imprints. Anyway, I love the beach too. What? you don’t like to people watch. Sometimes that’s the most fun is the people. I get what you’re talking about though. I used to work downtown and the whole month of May was horrible. The yearly Memphis in May BBQs and musicfest. I never could get anywhere, even home at a decent hour because it was jammed downtown.
It does, indeed, look that way. I’ve never figured out why, too.
I do, actually, like to people watch. Just when I go to the beach, I like the serenity of being alone. The sounds, the smells, the feel.
If I want to people watch, I go somewhere in town, find a bench and watch. When I go to a beach, I like it SO much better with nobody around!
