Where to go for a fall vacation?
So many people do different things. I enjoy my area (most years) because of the colors of leaves and all that. I’ve even gone up to the northeast and into Maine during that time — when leaf peeping is crazy amazing.
But where else?
For several years now, I make a trip down to South Jersey and visit the beach (always helps to have an aunt who owns a beach house!) because it’s the perfect time to go.
Some years are better weather than others. But some of the years have been great weather, sunny and warm. I tend to go down during Columbus Day weekend and there’s always some things going on — which makes it fun. But for the most part, the shore isn’t as busy that time of the year.
It’s really quite cool when you can walk on the beach and, at most, there are like 20 people there.
There’s also something about being to walk on the boardwalks or in some of the smaller towns and not have hug
And you get to find some good end-of-season sales, too!
But what about you? What’s your fall vacation?
