Photo Blogging Challenge (September 2018): Colorful

September 30, 2018

OK, it’s time.

I put up a regular blog post the other day and it was the first one I had done in many months. This blog has somewhat turned into the Photo Blogging Challenge, and even that I can’t seem to always  get right.

But writing that post felt good. I have some others in mind (just need some photos to go with them) and I really want to get back into it. It’s a good way to keep things flowing in my head.

That means I also have to start being on time with this monthly challenge! And this time, it is.

Here’s hoping the regular blogging continues and that I can keep things moving with this (and other challenges) that the ball has been dropped.

But first, let’s get September underway.

So let me get this up and rolling. Here are my five for the month!

1. Old building

While out on a geocaching trip, we came across this. Very cool old building. I love how the colors almost clash with one another.

2. All colored up

My final minor league baseball game of the year. I added some color to my scorekeeping this season and I really like the look and feel of my scorebook after I’ve done this.

3. Nature

Nature tends to bring so much color out …

4. For you!

I am sure we all have certain things we really love about our jobs. One of mine is when you go into the elementary schools for photos and the kids just seem to want to talk about everything. I was in the one school for a special day grabbing photos and two of the UPK kids came up to me and said they made these for me. They will remain on my board at my desk… talk about brightening your day!

5. Nature 2

More from what nature can bring …

There are my five. I look forward to seeing what everybody else came up with!

If you took part in this month’s challenge, make sure to link up below. And for those of you who participated, make sure you try and get to other people’s blogs and comment (here, too!). Let’s continue to grow this challenge and have a strong community. Come back and check out the others who link later on, too!

Also, don’t forget to get back here October 1 for the October theme!

NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.

I know exactly what you mean by getting back into blogging. I’ve been gone for too long…distracted by life. I hope you’re able to find time to write. Love your selection this month. Nature has the best palette of colors! And, that first one, while the colors may CLASH it looks like the barn may CRASH any minute. I have some sweet pictures my grandbabykins have drawn for me over the years. Treasures for sure. Hope your week goes well.

Life definitely distracts, which is almost kind of funny when it comes to personal blogs and all — because we all like to journal our lives! I will be getting back into it as much as I can!

Oh my gosh! The kids art is so cute!

Now I just need my baby to nap so I can post.

I guess the April Fool's joke is on us, Mother Nat I guess the April Fool's joke is on us, Mother Nature? Oh .. ha ha ha.

I also guess this is why hitting back roads to work is good -- you can stop and take a photo and not worry about anybody coming (usually)! Main roads around here are fine for now, but it's definitely quite picturesque on the lawns/trees etc.

I mean, if you hold a #Wrestlemania in an open stadium... eventually rain delays had to come, right? 🤣
