I am not into selfies.
I never have been and, as this month proves, I probably never will be.
Heck, I even had some creative ideas that never came to fruition. I tried to get a little more excited and nothing came to me.
Basically, this month is a total fail.
That being said, I did my best. Selfies, to me, don’t have to be ones with the phone in the air and looking down on somebody. It can work many ways.
And though these shots are … bleh at best … I tried to make it a “selfie.”
It’s funny, though. I’m the one who ultimately decides on the themes. And I try and find things that might challenge me, as well as all who participate.
This month, I proves to have a challenge even tougher for me!
All that being said, it’s time to see what this month has brought us. Here is my five for the month:
1. Shadow
Me … and my shadow …
2. Click click
Just me getting ready to take some photos …
3. A great season
You can see my legs in this shot … but it was a great summer of baseball. I’ll miss going to games during the off-season.
4. Foul ball
One of the players through this up at me during a game in September. Pretty cool.
5. Processing
I have lots of photos I need to start processing. I am setting a goal of trying to do at least one batch a week. I have photos that I haven’t touched dating back to 2013-14.
There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!
If you took part in this month’s challenge, make sure to link up below. And for those of you who participated, make sure you try and get to other people’s blogs and comment (here, too!). Let’s continue to grow this challenge and have a strong community. Come back and check out the others who link later on, too!
Also, don’t forget to get back here Sunday, October 1 for the October theme!
NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.

Looks like this was a tough one for the usual group of participants. Certainly was for me. I had one similar idea to you – a shadow selfie – but mine wasn’t as clean as yours. Good idea to use a single colour background! I also like how you incorporated your passion for baseball into your partial selfies!
Not sure if my favorite is the shadow selfie, or the baseball. I don’t like the sport, but do like the depth of field and color you’ve got going on in that shot.
Wonder what the same shot in a hockey scenario would look like, but please be careful catching “fouls” there — I think they’re going faster.
LOL! I’m so glad to see you “adapted” the theme this month. I thought I’d be the only one! Yes, it did challenge and get me out of my comfort zone. It also stretched my imagination. Not a total FAIL!
