Hello and goodbye April!
And hello color!
OK, I’ve realized something — the color in my area really developed over this month. It was kind of fun to watch it go from blah to colorful in the span of the month.
Well, it also doesn’t hurt with the amount of rain we got this month, but still…
I did a bunch of different things for this theme, which I had some fun with. Some of the shots I wanted didn’t come out so well, so I went with some secondary shots that I liked.
This is a good start to the push of warm weather and more fun ahead.
All that being said, it’s time to see what this month has brought us. Here is my five for the month:
1. Egg hunt
For the second straight year, I put together an Easter egg hunt for Cameron. He was on top of it this year!
2. Building
I picked up some toys for Cameron he could have when not at his house. Here’s some from a “tool set.”
3. Baseball
America’s Pastime is a colorful sport … and the season is fully underway!
4. Finger paint!
I was happy to get Cameron to somewhat pose for me with this!
5. Buster!
The mascot for the Lakewood Blueclaws!
There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!

Let’s continue to grow this challenge and have a strong community. Come back and check out the others who link later on, too!
Also, don’t forget to get back here Monday, May 1 for the May theme!
NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.

love Cameron’s finger paint 🙂
So your post goes to prove that kids and sports bring color to our lives!
I’m sure the egg hunt was a lot of fun!
I hope that to be the fact! They both do have a lot of color! And the egg hunt was fun. Glad we had good weather!

Cameron and baseball! What great subjects!

I would agree that they are two excellent subjects!
Colorful post all around. At three years old, Twix was old enough to really get into the egg hunt this year with her sister and cousins. My favorite is Cameron and the paint. You’re a brave man to take on a boy with finger paint!
That is awesome about the egg hunt. Cameron loved the one I set up last year, but this year he was really into it and didn’t need much help at all. As for the finger paint… I was across the table from him. I was safe! 🙂
My fave is Cameron with the paint too. The colors are so vibrant!

Thanks! I just wish I had gotten to him before he mixed all the colors!
What wonderful, vibrant colors! Although all the pictures are terrific, there is something special about the photo of Cameron and the finger paint. Sweet!

Thank you so much. The finger paint one is a photo I’ve wanted to get for a while, so I’m glad I finally had the chance!
All your images are colourful and I love the hand paint and your baseball action shot. Well captured.
Thank you! It was a good month to capture some color, that’s for sure! 🙂
The Cameron pictures are my favorite… what a cutie! Those pictures will always be treasured by your family!
This is definitely a different world than when I grew up. So many photos. This poor kid has a camera pointed at him quite often! 🙂
I love baseball! I couldn’t be happier that the season is underway. Going to games is so much fun.
I hope you didn’t step on any of those tool set pieces. They look like they would be Lego-level hurtful on the feet.

I love baseball as well and love going to as many games as I can get to. And no, I didn’t step on any of those. I can’t imagine they would hurt a bit!
