What a year it’s been, eh?
It truly does seem like the year ended in a flash, though we all know it wasn’t that fast. Life definitely comes at you quickly if you don’t watch, but when you slow things down a little, it’s not too bad.
Despite everything that happens all over this crazy world we live in, it’s not that bad of time to be alive. With advances in technology and everything else, it gives us all a chance to see the world in a different light. There is bad – that we all know – but it is up to you to choose to focus on what is good or what is bad.
Each year, I do a series of posts looking back on the year that is leaving us. They cover photography, blogging, life and whatever else. At the end of those, I then peek ahead at the year upcoming. Usually I spread them out over the early part of January, but where the days land this year – it will be hard with the 20 Days of Chill. So, that means I will be
This year’s edition of the Year in Review has been harder because of how much I’ve blogged. My mind is almost mush, but it’s OK, I’ll get through it. I’m sure I’ll forget stuff – I always do – but I’ll cover most everything I need to.
This will all start on Wednesday (likely with Photographs) and I will attempt to also go Thursday and Friday. I’m still waiting for the WordPress Year in Review thing they e-mail every year as it always has some interesting tidbits I like to use. If I don’t get it in time, I might do the two-part looking back before covering the blogging aspect.
Either way, this will go into 2017, likely on a weekend somewhere.
It’s been an interesting year, that’s for sure. I’ll enjoy looking back on it and looking forward to what 2017 has to offer.
