It’s that time of year – the 20 Days of Chill will soon be upon us. It’s time to announce the themes and the dates.
First – somebody has offered up a suggestion of something that I decided to tweak a little. In each week, on Friday, you’ll see “STORY” in front of the theme. The idea is simple – I am hoping each of you will create a story that connects each Friday. Maybe it’s something kind of true. Maybe it’s fiction. Maybe it’s a dream. Whatever it is, try and make it so people reading need or want to read the other parts to see what it’s all about.
The rest of the themes are, like in past challenges, are random and different. Some are easy, some are harder, and some are really out there.
Tell other bloggers to join up!
Remember, starting January 2, I will put my post up. At the end will be a linkup (which stays live for one day after). Stop here and link up and check out other people’s posts. Let’s keep it a community, not just a one-stop shop to try and get hits.
Anyway, without hesitating any longer … here’s the theme list.

And that’s it! Twenty themes in 20 days! Hopefully posting now will give some of you the chance to get ahead. It’s always fun to see how many people will complete the challenge.
Remember, interpret as you see fit; just make sure the theme is somehow involved! But the biggest part — have fun!

Good to hear. Maybe it will be a place for you to jumpstart it again!
Lots of fabulous prompts!
Now I need to sit down and make a plan who I get all that writing done.

Excellent! Glad you are joining us!
I might try. I need to start writing again. Is it ok to do a short thing on a busy night? And maybe have a cheat night?
You can do this challenge any way you feel you need to! Short, long, true, fiction etc. Skip a day etc. Do it however you need to! Would love to have you join us!
I read about your challenge on Lissa’s blog. It sounds like a lot of fun but I do have a question for you: what do you mean by having it connect each Friday? Thank you.
It means all four of the stories should connect to one another — so the four Friday stories should somehow connect.
