And here we go…
‘Tis the final month of 2016, and we shall continue to plod along with the Photo Blogging Challenge. It’s been a fun year where we’ve seen new participants, which is joyous. And now we come into the holiday season, with one month left before we flip the calendar to 2017.
Remember, years don’t repeat, so you have but 31 days to make 2016 memorable in a positive way. And while you’re at it, why not take a few photos as well!
I don’t have a lot to say this month as I’m running thin it seems. I have so much to do and so little time … but we all go through that. This time of year is one of my favorites, though. I look forward to the music, the sights, the sounds, and time with family and friends.
Below is this months theme. There’s only so many ways to phrase this type of theme, so it’s a repeat, but one that I think we can all handle. See it below. I hope you all can have fun with it. But first, there’s always some housekeeping things:
Here’s how it works.
- See the theme (first day of the month);
- Take photos throughout the month (don’t use old ones!);
- Select five photos and create a blog post;
- Come back here and link up on the final day of the month;
- Use the official hashtag — #Photoblogchal — on social media posts;
- Hopefully go visit and comment on other blogs.
That’s it. There’s no rules on equipment or anything else. Blog posts can be short and to the point, or in-depth. Interpret the themes as you see fit.
The one big rule?
Have fun!
This month’s theme? ‘Tis the Season. Is it something you give; or will it be something you get? Will it be personal or maybe something more broad ranged? Have some fun with this one and interpret it as you see fit. If you know others who might enjoy this challenge, pass it along. Please make sure your blog post publishes Saturday, December 31. Then come back here and link up.
If you think you are going to take part in this, drop a comment below so we can see who all might be trying to tackle this challenge!
There is also a Facebook group for those who are interested.
