Sometimes, themes can really be open for interpretation.
I think this one of them. For those in the United States, it was the month of Thanksgiving. For those elsewhere, hopefully this was a theme that allowed you to give thanks for some things and show us.
For me, I kind of went into a direction of looking at life as a whole. It was a good way to reflect a bit that life isn’t all that bad, though at times it seems like it might be.
I’ll look forward to seeing what everybody came up with. I think I still have to make a few extra rounds from last month, too … and that will be coming. But before that …
Here are my five photos for this month!
1-2. Thanks for nature
When you have a chance … stop and look around sometimes. There’s a lot of beauty out there!
3-4. Thanks for being able to …
My niece’s college team recently won the NJCAA Division III National Championship in women’s soccer. I definitely give thanks for being able to take the time off and be financially able to go watch her play there, as well as other games throughout the season.
5. Thanks for family
The family got together for Thanksgiving and we talked my mother into finally getting a Facebook profile photo. Meanwhile, to loosen Cameron up, a goofy photo had to be taken, so of course I needed to go with this one.
There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!
If you took part in this month’s challenge, make sure to link up below. And for those of you who participated, make sure you try and get to other people’s blogs and comment (here, too!). Let’s continue to grow this challenge and have a strong community. Come back and check out the others who link later on, too!
Also, don’t forget to get back here Thursday, December 1 for the December theme!
NOTE: I set up a Facebook group for those who participate in the challenge and are interested. I’ll post any announcements there and hopefully it can be a place where things are discussed and some interaction etc. You can access it here.

I love all your images especially the 2 landscapes. They are well composed and the lines and 2tone colours work so well.
I’m hoping to take part in the photo challenge next time. I’ve been working to alot of deadlines recently. So I’ve missed doing my blog and your monthly photo challenge.
Thanks so much! I enjoy landscapes at times, so happy when they come out well!
I can understand deadlines (note that I’m just catching up on comments!) and hope to see you back with us soon!
Is there a way to determine whether the sun is rising or setting on a picture? Either way, it’s gorgeous!
Congratulations on your niece’s (team’s) win!
I’m honestly not sure how to tell, outside of the person who took the photo saying so. Unless you can tell east or west? I think they both make for great photos though!
Congrats to your niece. That is so cool. Great pics especially the sunset.

Thanks a lot Phil! Was thrilling to watch her win that championship!
The sun is like a sun and a rainbow – I love it!!! And the birds over the water. Always a favorite of mine.
The soccer is great – congratulations!!!! Those are great shots too… they should be framed as a holiday gift. 🙂
The last one – I wanna stick my tongue out too!

Thanks so much, Katherine! That sunset one I loved, too. As for the soccer … it was pretty wild. And there was one and three of her best friends on the team I took … that one did get framed as a Christmas gift! 🙂
Love your first two photos, the colours in that first one especially is amazing.

Oh Boo. My month completely got away from me and I missed out this month. I do love all your photos and the last one made me giggle. Congrats to your niece’s soccer team! That’s an awesome accomplishment. And those first two shots are awesome.
We missed having you! You always have such great photos to share for these challenges! Look forward to your return! 🙂
Great things to be thankful for and love the sentiment behind every picture. Great picture of the family pulling faces and I adore your first photo – amazing colours.
Thanks so much! There are definitely a lot of things to be thankful for!
I’m finally get around to visiting all the November posts (will visit December posts soon). As I was browsing through your top notch selection of photos I realized that I completely forgot to mention something for which I give thanks every month – this photo blogging challenge!! Thanks PJ, for continuing to provide energy to this community building, skills developing, fun blogging activity that will soon be celebrating it’s fourth anniversary!
I, too, am so far behind. Both with photo challenge posts and with the 20 Days of Chill. I am trying to catch up on all comments and visiting posts to get up to speed. I definitely took a month-plus away from things. Anyway, glad you still enjoy the challenge and here’s to hoping it will continue for years to come!
