Photography

Good photo day. Went with Darren and did a bit of hiking and climbing. Seems like whenever I go on a photo day with Darren, we find out way into more fields, briers, rocks, hills and having to walk/hike/and climb to things than when I go with anyone else.

Ahh well, it’s all good. A good day of exercise and an even better day of photos. Keep peeking the photoblog in the upcoming days and weeks to see what I have in store.

Cripes, just realized I’m coming upon a milestone post on that blog, too. Better get cracking on something!

I’m trying to talk Darren into getting a Flickr account or maybe setting him up a photoblog here on the HooHaa Network. Hopefully we can get him into it as he has an interesting eye when he shoots photos and it would be nice to see him posting his images on a daily or at least regular basis!

So after a full day under me after getting back to working out, I have to say it wasn’t too bad. I felt good, decently refreshed. Now, as long as I can get myself into that routine, I think I’ll be OK and hopefully will be able to stick with it this time!

That’s the plan, anyway!

Day off today, so the plan is to, again, work out, then go and shoot some photos. Looks like I’ll be shooting solo, so just going to seek out a few things that I spotted today. Maybe check out one set of falls someone pointed me toward this evening. Apparently, they are pretty nice.

Speaking of photos, I need to get a couple photos queued up on the photo blog.

So the more I talk with people, however, is the more I find out how many sweet waterfalls are apparently around here. So I’m going to get searching and see what I can find. For those of you who aren’t too into nature and such, waterfalls really are amazing and I encourage you to check them out!

iPod update: So I’ve opted to get my new iPod via Amazon, for the following reasons:

• No tax.

Sounds like good enough reasons to me. So I first have to order a gift card with the one gift Mastercard I got for Christmas, then order it. Ahh, saving money when you spend money… excellent!
